If vpn client cannot connect to server try following steps :
Disable Modem firewall
Telnet server at port 1723 and check if port is accessible
Disable Modem firewall
Telnet server at port 1723 and check if port is accessible
Check internet speed at www.speedtest.net
Create a new vpn connection with optional encryption.
